Welcome to the Thrive Self Reliance Summit website (the “Site”). By accessing or using this Site, registering for the event, applying as a speaker, exhibitor, or volunteer, or purchasing tickets, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use this Site.

1. About the Event

The Thrive Self Reliance Summit (“Summit”) is an educational and community-focused event centered on self-reliance, preparedness, and related skills. References to “we,” “us,” or “our” refer to the Summit organizers.

2. Eligibility and Participation

You must be at least 18 years of age to register, apply, or participate unless otherwise approved in writing. By registering or participating, you represent that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Registration, Tickets, and Payments

All ticket purchases, exhibitor fees, and sponsorship payments are final unless otherwise stated in writing. The Summit reserves the right to modify event schedules, speakers, locations, or content as necessary.

In the event of cancellation or rescheduling due to circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to weather, venue issues, or force majeure events), refunds or credits will be issued at the discretion of the Summit.

4. Speakers, Exhibitors, and Volunteers

Speakers, exhibitors, and volunteers may be required to submit materials including logos, images, promotional content, and sample work. Submission does not guarantee acceptance. The Summit reserves the right to approve, deny, or revoke participation at any time.

Volunteers participate on an unpaid, voluntary basis and assume responsibility for their own conduct, safety, and personal property.

5. Code of Conduct

All participants agree to conduct themselves in a respectful, professional, and lawful manner. Harassment, discrimination, disruptive behavior, or unsafe conduct will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the event without refund.

6. Assumption of Risk

Participation in Summit activities may involve inherent risks. By attending or participating, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with your participation, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or loss.

7. Indemnification and Hold Harmless

To the fullest extent permitted by Colorado law, you agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the Summit, its organizers, staff, volunteers, partners, affiliates, sponsors, and venue(s) from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of or related to your participation in the event or use of the Site.

8. Photography, Video, and Media Release

By attending or participating in the Summit, you grant permission for your likeness, voice, and image to be captured in photographs, video, or audio recordings and used for promotional, marketing, educational, or archival purposes without compensation.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including text, graphics, logos, and media, is the property of the Summit or its content providers and may not be reproduced or distributed without prior written permission.

10. Third-Party Links

This Site may contain links to third-party websites. The Summit is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party sites.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Summit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or related to your participation in the event or use of the Site.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Force Majeure

The Summit shall not be held responsible or liable for any delay, interruption, or cancellation of the event caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. These may include, but are not limited to, acts of God, extreme weather, natural disasters, fire, flood, government orders, public health emergencies, labor disputes, venue issues, or other unforeseen events. In such cases, the Summit reserves the right to modify, postpone, relocate, or cancel the event without liability.

In alignment with the Summit’s mission of resilience and adaptability, we are committed to making reasonable efforts to communicate changes clearly and to adjust plans in a way that best supports our community when unexpected circumstances arise.
